This is a drawing of my fiance, my son and me.
I am currently living in the North Portland area on a very, very low income. I am waiting for my SSI and SSD to get approved. I have a 5 yr old son and I am 30. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, multi level disk degeneration in my back, Degeneration in my neck and my knees, PTSD, Chronic major depression, anxiety, sleep problems and I am very suseptable to many illnesses due to my medical conditions. My fiancee is not living with us right now but will be by next year. Right now we are at risk of being evicted from our apartment which I share with my sister (31) and nephew (4). The Landlord doesn't like us and is always changing the rules to be against us. My sister works but the little amount I bring in combined with her little income is not enough to pay all the bills in our small apartment. The apartment is crowded with the 4 of us sharing just 2 bedrooms and one bath. I am looking for any ideas for help with rent, bills, grants or possibly a different place to live that the rent could go off of our income. I am so scared that I will be out on the streets with my son and have no place to go. The stress has taken a toll on me and I don't know where to turn. This is a last resort, Please God let there be someone with a kind heart who is willing to help us out and offer information or a new direction to look in. I don't want to feel like a failure to my son..... God please help us!!!
